Hanover House is among the most architecturally distinctive private homes in Jamaica. Its rooms are large with high ceilings and stunning views over Montego Bay and the Caribbean Sea.

A sweeping staircase brings guests up through the three-story entrance foyer to the pool terrace - a 1,500-square-foot outdoor living space around the private pool, framed in white stone arches. The large living room has satellite television and opens to paved terraces and lovely views. Four shaded sitting areas, poolside chaises, and two dining tables seat 15 guests. The breakfast table overlooks a 500-acre coconut plantation and the sea. Home-cooked candelight dinners are served on the adjacent terrace. Pam, the long-time excellent Hanover House cook, merits special mention.

No words can adequately describe the many views from Hanover House - truly breathtaking every hour of the day and night - sunrise to sunset.

Round Hill membership:
